GEOTECHNICAL
NEIL O. NATS has been contracted by Mr. Delbert Rapini, the
property owner, to perform the percolation tests associated with this report. Mr. Rapini plans to
develop the Site into 29 parcels for sale; the proposed right-of-way will allow street access for
each new parcel.
The soil suitability/nitrate loading study(SS/NLS) was conducted to determine whether the soils
are suitable for use with a septic system and to estimate the potential impact to ground water
quality. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the
San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included conducting
percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin County,
Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). NATS conducted all the soil
drilling, soil logging, and percolation testing.
In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use
with a septic system.
This report has been formatted to correspond to the EHD's SS/NLS Requirements Checklist,
dated July 14, 2003.
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 9021ndustrW Way,Lodi,Califomia 95240 ■209.367.3701 0 209.369.4228 ■w .noandenonxom
