L \J4
3.6 Discussion of General Area Septic Tank Repair History: Repair story of the septic J
t in this area reveals that the le lines and seepage pits have had consistent, unerring
performance. This is based on fact t atno septic system repair application has been applied
for.
3.7 Description of Proposed or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic
tank usage on site. The four parcels will have only primary residences, no second unit
dwellings are planned. Thus only one septic system per parcel is anticipated at this time. Per
- County ordinances, each parcel on this map is entitled to one primary residence and one second
unit dwelling. Therefore this project could ultimately have 8 homes on the four proposed
parcels.
4;0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION:
41.1. Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to
ground water in this area is approximately 140 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal
Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 1999,by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and
Water Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west.
4.21Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination
issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this
area is deemed low due to the depths involved. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically
do not impact groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is
always potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation.
4.3 escription of location, type and construction of well and location where water
sane le(s) were obtained: Water samples were taken from a spigot on a domestic well at
the house located at 600 S. Hewitt Road on January 11, 2006 by Mark Wonderlich of
Dillon &Murphy. The water samples were obtained at this location due to the fact the well lies
within the property.
4.4 escription of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples were
t ed for nitrates and DBCP. The results for dibromochloropropane (DBCP)were no
(and the results for nitrates measured 6.24.
\4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab:
The ater samples were obtained from the spigot at the house located 600 S. Hewitt Road. The
samples were taken by Mark Wonderlich of Dillon &Murphy, and driven directly to Precision
Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordanwith ecision Enviro-Tech
requirements. The results from the test can be found in t ppendi .
X4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third
party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the
lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted
information: The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix.
2
c:\0563\Soil Report
