Photographs
of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is
attached to this report as Appendix D.
The subject property was observed to be a flat, mostly rectangular parcel. Two single-family residences
L and a shed and hay barn are located at the eastern end of the property. Two domestic wells were
observed near the residences. The remainder of the property was observed to be planted with soybeans.
The northern, western, and southern boundaries of the property were defined by a drainage ditch or
canaled stream. All transformers
were white and appeared relatively new.
L Several chemical buckets and batteries were observed on the asphalt parkway along the eastern side of
the hay bam. According to Mr.Blomberg, these containers were placed on the asphalt in a stacked pile
to allow for easy removal and disposal of the chemical buckets. No surface staining was detectable near
the buckets or batteries.
V
Two tires were observed around an irrigation pipe, and a chemical tank was observed near the field at
the subject property. These objects appeared to be in fair condition and no stains were observed at the
time of the inspection.
L Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance.
