Microbes are
primarily responsible for the breakdown ofthe product, and volatilization or photodegradation
losses will be negligible. In water, glyphosate is strongly adsorbed to suspended organic and
mineral matter and is broken down primarily by microorganisms; its half-life in pond water
ranges from 12 days to 10 weeks.
• An air compressor was noted near the garag ;no soil staining ordors were noted in the
- vicinity of the compressor. .
• The subject property was served by municipal water and sewer systems.
• There had been recent upgrades to the storm water sewer system near the property and some
of the soil from sewer line excavation was spread on part of the yard area.
