Corrective,Action Plan 16 <br /> Time Oil Company Property No 04-049 14000 East Highway 88 Lockeford CA September 8 1998 <br /> recommended because its deeper screened interval will allow for removal/treatment of deeper <br /> hydrocarbon impacts detected in that area(Figure 5) <br /> A total of four (4) air sparge wells are proposed to address dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> (Figure 7) These sparge wells will be constructed with the top of the screens at depths of <br /> approximately 3 feet below historical low groundwater levels <br /> A general process flow diagram for the recommended AS/SVE system is provided as Figure 8 <br /> Based on results of the SVE tests a catalytic (or thermal) oxidizer will be required to abate <br /> extracted vapors The expected destruction efficiency for this abatement equipment will be at <br /> least 95 percent The catalytic oxidizer will be capable of extracting and treating up to 250 cfm <br /> of soil vapor from the extracted wells Influent and effluent hydrocarbon vapor samples, process <br /> temperatures, applied vacuums, and flow rates will all be measured as required for permit <br /> compliance and to ensure reliable operation of the system <br /> An air compressor/blower will be required to introduce air into the proposed air sparge wells An <br /> air compressor capable of introducing 15 cfrn of air will be utilized Air flow and infection <br /> pressure will be measured to ensure reliable operation of the system <br /> Time Oil\Lockeford\CAP wpd <br />
