Corrective Action Plan 17 <br /> Time Oil Company Property No 04-049 14000 East Highway 88 Lockeford CA lk tember 8 1998 <br /> 5 0 CORRECTIVE ACTION IMPLEMENTATION <br /> 5 1 REMEDIATION SYSTEM PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION <br /> The proposed treatment system will reduce the observed influent concentrations to effluent levels <br /> acceptable to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) An <br /> application for an authority to construct (ATC) permit for the catalytic oxidizer treatment system <br /> will be prepared and submitted to the SJVUAPCD After an ATC is obtained and the system <br /> installed, a source test will be conducted to verify system performance A permit to operate <br /> (PTO) will be obtained at the successful completion of the source test and compliance <br /> demonstration <br /> Construction of the treatment equipment compound will meet applicable local building codes <br /> and fire department regulations A six foot high, chain-linked fence with slats and barb wire (20 <br /> feet by 16 feet) will be placed around the AS/SVE equipment and piping manifolds The <br /> approximate location of the proposed treatment compound and underground piping is shown on <br /> Figure 9 <br /> Above round piping from airsparge wells will be manifolded before the air compressor A "T" <br /> g pp g <br /> fitting will be placed at the top of each air sparge well and a locking well cap inserted All <br /> piping, tees,points, valves and other air sparge components will consist of 1-inch diameter <br /> schedule 80 PVC, compressed air line, or galvanized steel Valves and instrumentation will be <br /> installed to allow for control and measurement of air flow <br /> Above ground piping from vapor extraction wells will be manifolded before the catalytic <br /> oxidizer A "T" fitting will be placed at the top of each well vapor extraction well and a locking <br /> well cap inserted All piping, tees,points, valves and other soil vapor extraction components will <br /> Time fliilLockeford\CAP wpd <br />
