Corrective Action Plan 5 <br /> Time Oil Company Property No 04-449 14000 East Highway 88 Lockeford CA September 8 1998 <br /> In March 1998, a soil vapor extraction(SVE) feasibility test was conducted by SECOR Results of <br /> this SVE test are presented in Section 2 4 <br /> 2.3 HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> Soil samples collected from borings advanced during the most recent environmental assessment <br /> consisted predominantly of sands,clays, and gravels In general, a well graded sand exists from near <br /> ground surface to approximately 50 to 55 feet bgs This interval has occasional, lateral <br /> discontinuous interbedded clay and silt dominated layers from 4 to 14 feet in thickness Subjacent <br /> to this interval, gravels with varying amounts of sand and clay are generally encountered to the total <br /> depth of the boreholes The amount of gravel in this interval tends to decrease as the clay content <br /> increases with depth A cross-section location map is provided as Figure 4, and generalized geologic <br /> cross-sections are provided on Figure 5 Soil boring logs are provided in Appendix A <br /> Between January 1995 and April 1998, depth to water across the Site has ranged from 66 to 87 feet <br /> bgs Depth to water variations for this time period in individual wells ranged from 3 to 14 feet <br /> Groundwater monitoring results are summarized in Table 1 Groundwater flow at the site is to the <br /> south with an average gradient of approximately 0 04 ft/ft <br /> A water supply well search was conducted for the Site vicinity in June 1997 This search was <br /> conducted by reviewing records on file at the Division of Water Resources (DWR) in Sacramento, <br /> and contacting the Lockeford Community Services District Results of the water supply well search <br /> are presented in Appendix B One irrigation well and two municipal wells were found within a <br /> 2,000 foot radius of the Site The municipal wells are located approximately 900 feet northeast and <br /> 1,500 feet southwest of the Site <br /> The Site is located approximately 0 75 miles south of the Mokelumne River The closest surface <br /> water body to the site is a creek located approximately 600 feet northwest of the Site A drainage <br /> Time 00\1-ockeford\CAP wpd <br />
