Purge Water <br /> Purge water generated dunng groundwater purging was transported by Integrated Waste <br /> Management, Inc to Seaport Environmental, in Redwood City, California, for treatment and <br /> disposal <br /> SITE REMEDIATION <br /> Soil Remediation System Construction <br /> Construction of a soil and groundwater remediation system was completed at the site in December <br /> 1999 The remediation system consists of seven soil vapor extraction (SVE) wells (W-1, W-3 <br /> through W-8), two groundwater monitor wells (MW-1 and MW-3) and four air sparge wells (AS-1 <br /> through AS-4) with catalytic oxidation treatment A Site Plan depicting the locations of the <br /> remediation wells, subsurface piping, and remediation equipment compound is included as Figure 4 <br /> Initial start-up air discharge compliance testing was completed on December 13, 1999 The San <br /> Joaquin County VaIIey Air Pollution Control District(SJVAPCD)has approved an air permit for the <br /> site During site visits, SECOR monitored system parameters and collected appropriate influent soil <br /> vapor samples <br /> Based on the influent soil vapor samples analytical results,approximately 11,421 pounds of gasoline <br /> were removed and treated at an average extraction rate of 224 scfm for this reporting period The soil <br /> vapor analytical results and system efficiency results are included as Attachment III <br /> FORTHCOMING ACTIVITIES <br /> During the second quarter of 2000, SECOR will conduct additional monitoring, sampling and <br /> remediation system operation and maintenance activities The results of these activities will be <br /> summarized in a quarterly monitoring report to be submitted to you in July 2000 <br /> This report presents our understanding of existing conditions at the subject site The conclusions <br /> contained herein are based on the analytical results and professional judgment which are in <br /> accordance with current standards of professional practice, no other warranty is expressed or <br /> implied SECOR assumes no Iiability for exploratory borings or data reported by other consultants <br /> or contractors <br /> Sincerely, tis a BpE�, G� <br /> SECOR International Incorporated <br /> No,6065 <br /> Todd J Brown John E Bower, R G 'QTc OF O��-�; <br /> Project Geologist Principal Geologist <br /> C Mme 01N.MkeforeQ100 3 SECOR <br /> 077 411137 003 Apru 24 2000 <br />
