All <br /> A <br /> ILL casing joints are threaded and no glues_ chemical cements, or <br /> solvents were used in well constructionl_.- The tap of the casing <br /> is covered with a - slip cap and the bottom has a threaded end <br /> plug, - •. ._ - _ � �-_� � . - . <br /> N r -• <br /> The annular space of each well was backfilled with #3- Monterey <br /> sand from total depth to` approximately 2 feet above the screened <br /> casing. A bentonite plug, approximately 2 feet thick,.Iwas placed <br /> above the sand as a seal =against cement =entering the sand pack, - <br /> and the remaining annulus was backfilled with neat cement to <br /> grade. Graphic representations .of well constructions are shown <br /> on the right margin of the Boring .Logs . ' <br /> t, <br /> A cast-iron CNI utility box, with!-stee.l apron, was placed over <br /> each well head and concreted . intc place-af_lush with the <br /> surrounding surface grade.
