Attached is a memorandum
containing my comments from the meeting and a list of those who attended. In
order to move toward closure, the following are required:
1 . A soil investigation, to determine the lateral extent of soil
contamination remaining above the current water table (the need for soil
remediation or site closure will be evaluated once the results of the
soil investigation have been submitted); and
2. Submittal of quarterly reports, including ground water monitoring
results and elevations, until the site has been closed by regulatory
agencies (required by Section 2652(d) of the Underground Tank Regulation
and to remain eligible for SB2004 funds) ;
If you have any questions, contact me at (916) 361-5726.
"atee
ER
r
Attachments
cc: Mr. Harlin Knoll , San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Stockton
Mr. Darrell Nations, Nations Groundwater Associates, Sacramento
Ms. Charlotte Uram, Landels, Ripley & Diamond, Sacramento
