PA-0800005 OF TRACY MATERIALS <br /> RECOVERY AND TRANSFER STATION (APN: 253-130-19 & 26) <br /> (ADDRESS: 30703 S.MACARTHUR DRIVE, TRACY) <br /> The applicant has submitted the above Use permit application for the expansion of <br /> an existing solid waste processing and recycling facility from 39.2 acres to 51.7 acres in two <br /> phases over twenty years with a maximum of 1,727 vehicles per day at final build out. <br /> Phase One to increase the daily waster capacity from 1,000 (TPD)to 1,800 (TPD)within <br /> ten years and Phase Two to increase the daily waste capacity from 1,800 (TPD) to 2,500 <br /> (TPD)within twenty years. The project will employ 160 persons and operate 24 hours a <br /> day, 7 days a week. All outdoor processing activities will not begin before 6:00 am and will <br /> not operate after 10:00 pm on site activities to include vehicle maintenance, equipment <br /> storage and truck parking, construction and demolition of inert debris (CDI), processing <br /> wood waste grindings, appliance recycling and associated waste handling activities. <br /> Proposed site improvements will include: <br /> (1)The addition of 19,200 square feet to the existing 57,200 square foot material <br /> recovery facility and transfer station building. <br /> (2)Addition of 10,500 square feet to the existing maintenance and administration <br /> building. <br /> (3) Construction of a one (1) mega-watt wood waste bio-mass gasification unit for <br /> on-site energy use only. <br /> The project site is not under a Williamson Act Contract. The parcels have a General <br /> Plan designation of A/G (General Agriculture) and is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture <br /> 40 acre minimum). The project site is located on the west side of S. Macarthur Drive, 1.1 <br /> miles south of Linne Road in Tracy. The project Use Type is Major Impact Services. <br /> i <br />
