USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. PA-0800006 OF TRACY MATERIAL <br /> Lan , f RECOVERY INC. for the expansion of an existing solid waste processing <br /> iv and recycling facility from 39.2 acres to 51.7 acres in two phases over <br /> 1 +P twenty years with a maximum of 1,727 vehicles per day at final build out. <br /> i Phase 1 to increase the daily waste capacity from 1,000 tons per day <br /> (TPD)to 1,800 TPD within ten years. Phase 1 site improvements will <br /> include the addition of 19,200 square feet to the existing 57,200 square <br /> foot material recovery facility and transfer station building; the addition of <br /> 10,500 square feet to the existing maintenance and administration <br /> building; construction of a one mega-waft wood waste bio-mass <br /> gasification unit; construction of a 5,000 square foot covered storage <br /> area and loading dock, Phase 2 to increase the daily waste capacity from <br /> 1,800 TPD to 2,500 TPD within twenty years. The project will employ <br /> 160 persons and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All outdoor <br /> processing activities will not begin before 6:00 am and will not operate <br /> after 10:00 pm. On site activities will include vehicle maintenance, <br /> equipment storage and truck parking, processing of construction and <br /> demolition debris, processing wood waste grindings, appliance recycling <br /> and associated waste handling activities. The project is located on the <br /> west side of South MacArthur Drive, 1.1 miles south of Linne Road, Tracy <br /> (Supervisorial District 5). <br /> Environmental Determination: An Initial Study has been prepared <br /> indicating the project will not have a significant impact on the environment, <br /> and a Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared for the project. <br /> PC AGENDA - 1 - PC: 11-17-11 <br />
