Project Description—'Report of Composting Site Information <br /> Tracy Material Rem very Facility and Transfer Station <br /> Y 30703 S MacArthur Drive, Tracy, Califom/a 95377 <br /> U) A description of the proposed method for storage and final disposal of <br /> nonrecoverable or nonmarketable residues. <br /> (k) A description of the water supplies for process water required. <br /> (1) Identification of person(s) responsible for oversight of facility operations. <br /> (m) A description of the proposed site restoration activities, in accordance with <br /> Section 17870. <br /> (n) An Odor Impact Minimization Plan pursuant to Section 17863.4. <br /> The required information above is presented as headings in bold italic typeface. The <br /> following section addresses information common to Methods 1- 3 above. <br /> a. A description of the composting processes to be used, including estimated <br /> quantities of feedstocks, additives, and amendments <br /> Prior to reaching the compost facility, the haulers of source-separated green materials <br /> require their collection route drivers and helpers to watch for unacceptable materials at <br /> the pickup points and not include such materials in the loads. Many communities <br /> institute a notification system with the generator whereby contaminated loads are not <br /> collected. <br /> Feedstock Types <br /> The facility receives green material from yard waste and agricultural waste. The <br /> operator plans to accept the following materials defined below up to the maximum <br /> quantities listed below per each operation: <br /> The following material are received at the facility as defined in the new Compostable <br /> Material Handling regulations effective April 4, 2003, in accordance with the material <br /> types assessed in the 1999 CEQA document and allowed in the 1999 Solid Waste <br /> Facility Permit: <br /> CCR 14 <br /> "green material" 1 <br /> g [ § 7852(x)(21)]•- means any plant material that as separated at <br /> the point of generation contains no greater than 1.0 percent of physical contaminants by <br /> weight, and meets the requirements of section 17868.5. Green material includes, but is <br /> not limited to, yard trimmings, untreated wood wastes, natural fiber products, and <br /> construction and demolition wood waste. Green material does not include food material, <br /> biosolids, and mixed solid waste, material processes from commingled collection, wood <br /> containing lead-based paint or wood preservative, mixed construction or mixed <br /> demolition debris. <br /> "green material"[14 CCR §17852(e)]--Any plant material that is either separated at the <br /> ,. point of generation, or separated at a centralized facility that employs methods to <br /> minimize contamination.
