MacArthur Drive, Tracy, Califomia 95377 <br /> �J <br /> 1. windrow, elongated, for "green waste only" <br /> 2. windrow, elongated, for co-composted green waste and food waste feedstocks (up <br /> to 20% food waste) <br /> 3. pile, enclosed aerated static ("CTI in-vessel system"), for food waste feedstock <br /> (green waste or other bulking agent may be added) <br /> 4. pile, covered aerated static, for food waste feedstock (green waste or other bulking <br /> agent may be added) <br /> General Information <br /> This RCS! is formatted by presenting the reference to the required information in <br /> accordance with the regulations found in 14 CCR §17863 and 14 CCR §18227 as <br /> highlighted below: <br /> Section 18227. Report of Composting Site Information. <br /> Each operator of a compostable material handling facility that is required to <br /> obtain a Compostable Materials Handling Facility Permit, as specified in Title 27, <br /> California Code of Regulations, Division 2, Subdivision 1, Chapter 4, Subchapter <br /> 1 and Subchapter 3, Articles 1, 2, 3, and 3.9 (commencing with section 21450), <br /> shall, at the time of application, file a Report of Composting Site Information with <br /> the EA as required by Section 17863 of this Title. A Report of Composting Site <br /> Information shall contain the following. r <br /> (a)A description of the processes to be used, including estimated quantities of <br /> feedstocks, additives, and amendments. <br /> (b) A descriptive statement of the operations conducted at the facility. <br /> (c) A schematic drawing of the facility showing layout and general dimensions of <br /> all processes utilized in the production of compost including, but not limited to, <br /> unloading, storage, processing, parking, and loading areas. <br /> (d) A description of the proposed methods used to control leachate, litter, odors, <br /> dust, rodents, and insects. <br /> (e)A description of the proposed emergency provisions for equipment <br /> breakdown or power failure. <br /> (f) A description of the storage capacity and anticipated maximum and average <br /> length of time compostable materials will be stored at the facility. <br /> (g) A description of compostable materials handling equipment used at the facility <br /> including type, capacity, and number of units. <br /> (h) Anticipated annual operation capacity for the facility in cubic yards. <br /> (i)A description of provisions to handle unusual peak loadings. <br /> - <br /> Edgar&Associates,Inc. 17 Tracy Compost Fac ProjDescO42310 <br />
