The property was approximately one- <br /> mile in length from north-to-south and one and one-half mile in length from east-to-west and was <br /> transected by Highway 580 and the California Aqueduct.Land use of the surrounding properties was <br /> mixed agricultural, generally barley/alfalfa and orchards, scattered residential complexes and a <br /> service station and mini-mart adjacent to the property along South Chrisman Road. <br /> Figure 1 shows the setting of the subject property which was located in the major portion of <br /> Section 27 and the eastern half of Section 28,Township 3 South,Range 5East,Mount Diablo Base <br /> and Meridian (7.5 Minute United States Geological Survey (USGS) Topographic Series, Tracy <br /> Quadrangle, California, 1981). The map shows the subject property located at an elevation of <br /> approximately 251 feet above mean sea level and in a general area of moderate topographic relief, <br /> sloping to the northeast. <br /> The subject property was undeveloped land covered in weeds and grasses at the time of the site <br /> reconnaissance;Parcel 1 was cut grasses,Parcels 2 and 3 were generally uncut grasses.The subject <br /> property had no on-site water sources orsewer/septic systems and was generally fenced.The subject <br /> property is depicted in Figure 2;photographs of the subject property are provided in Appendix A. <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc. <br />
