Mr. Ron Souza - 2 - `r 3 July 2001 <br /> 7 June 2001 meeting, you described plans to change the wastewater handling procedure by adding <br /> an alternate wastewater storage pond. We discussed the need for the WDRs to be revised prior to <br /> implementing the described changes. <br /> - Discharge Specification No. B.1 limits average dry weather wastewater discharge to a maximum <br /> of 7,000 gallons per day. The flow rate is not metered, however you stated that the plant was <br /> significantly over the flow limit. <br /> - George Reed has failed to regularly submit quarterly monitoring reports as required by <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP)No. 93-177. This situation has recently been <br /> corrected; until the WDRs can be updated, George Reed must continue to perform the monitoring <br /> and reporting required by the MRP. <br /> During the 7 June 2001 site inspection, we discussed the need for George Reed Inc. to submit a Report <br /> of Waste Discharge (RWD) for the changes that were discussed and the flow rate over the limit in Order <br /> No. 93-177. The request for an RWD will be transmitted in separate correspondence.
