Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby
addresses that have been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP),
common ground water contaminants in San Joaquin County. Three tested wells were
identified within approximately two miles of the Site. DBCP was not detected in any of
the wells. Nitrate as NO3 was not detected in one well; in the other two, it was detected
at concentrations of 5.8 and 8.9 parts per million (ppm). The Maximum Contaminant J
Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 ppm.
7.3 Office of Emergency Services Databases
The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) Hazardous Materials
Management Program (HMMP) Compliance Website was searched on September 24,
2010. No records were identified for the Site addresses.
Michelle Halliwell of the OES was interviewed by telephone on October 4, 2010. She
indicated at this time that three hazardous materials incident reports are on file in the
OES database for the immediate vicinity of the Site-
A drum of waste oil was abandoned on Collier Road one-half mile east of
Mackville Road in 1995. The drum leaked slightly to the ground.
• Three plastic drums containing a mixture of soil, water, and diesel were dumped
at the side of Mackville Road south of Collier in 1997. Approximately 20 gallons
of liquid spilled, requiring one to two yards of soil be removed from the shoulder
of the road.
• Abandoned drug lab materials were found on Collier Road east of Mackville
Road in 1999. The materials were determined to be non-hazardous.
It appears that these incidents took place on the roadway rather than on the Site.
Based on the dates (over ten years old) and the nature of the materials involved, it is
unlikely that residual contamination exists on the Site from these sources.
7.4 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted regarding (36
any agricultural use of the site. According to Hazel Gallego of that office, no chemical
use reports were identified for the Site under the names of Phil Henry, Frank Costa, or
Max Biglieri (Correspondence, September 21, 2010).
7.5 Department of Oil Gas and Geothermal Resources Maps
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online
Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on September 23, 2010 for mapped oil or gas
wells within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified. (41"J
LOGE1022 Page 6
