3. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (Staff Contact: Rodney Estrada,468-0331) <br /> a. A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study which indicatesthat the area is suitable for septic tank <br /> usage must be performed prior to approval of the final map,as required by DevelopmentTitle <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d). A nitrate loading study is required,and a review fee of$435.00 must be paid at <br /> the time of submittal to the Environmental Health Division. . <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or the EPA Design Manual for on-site waste water treatment and disposal systems is required for <br /> each parcel. A permit fee of$87.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane(DBCP)and <br /> nitrates prior to recordation of the final map. Samples are to betaken and analyzed by a State <br /> approved laboratory. (DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1115.7) <br /> c. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Division is required at the time of development as determined by the nitrate <br /> loading study. (DevelopmentTitle Sections 9-1110.3 and 9A 110.4) <br /> d. Construction of an individual domesticwater well under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Division is required at the time of development. (DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1115.3) <br /> 4. OAKDALE IRRIGATION DISTRICT (Staff Contact Sally Davis,847-0341) <br /> a. Show the District easement and instrument number 72-25085 on the final map. <br /> b. Provide a 60-foot-wide easement,30 feet on each side of the centeriine,for the Harter Drain. <br /> c. Provide a metes and bounds legal description for the Harter Drain easement. <br /> d. Provide a 20-foot-wide access easement for the Harter Drain from Campbell Road to the southwest <br /> corner of Parcel 3 along the southern property line. <br /> e. Provide a private irrigation easement to Parcels 2, 5,and 6 from the Campbell Lateral Pipeline. <br /> 5. COUNTYCOUNSEL <br /> a. HOLD HARMLESS PROVISION: Pursuant to Section 66474.9 of the Government Code, the <br /> subdivider shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the local agency or its agents, officers, and <br /> employees from any claim, action, or proceeding against the local agency or its agents, officers, or <br /> employees to attack, set aside, void, or annul an approval of the local agency, advisory agency, <br /> appeal board, or legislative body concerning a subdivision,which action is brought within the time <br /> provided for in Section 66499.37 of the GovemmentCode. <br /> V San Joaquin County SU-004, DV-00- <br /> Community Development Paagege 8 <br /> 8 <br />
