E05141A I L7 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)well map W5-315 was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. L3.1.8 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was ondueted on-No ember 21,2005. Photographs of the subject property az ch o eport as Appendix B. visit/assessment checklist is attached to this repo s Ap ndix D L The subject property o served to be a relatively flat,square parcel. A single-family residence,three barns,several sheds,and various pens for horses and goats were located at the northwest corner of the property. Portions of the residential area were inaccessible due to fencing. The interiors a � Lstructures were not observed. The remainder of the property was a recently-planted agricultu 4a� — L An irrigation canal was observed along the eastern boundary of the property. L Four drums,three of which were closed and felt partially full,were observed near the goat pen to the east of the residence. Two additional closed drums were observed beneath the pole barn. A number of empty drums were observed scattered across the residential area of the property. The drums are reportedly used for animal feed." Additional drums near the residence were being used to hold cans and bottles for recycling. Debris including scrap metal,chemical buckets,tires,and a washing machine was observed underneath 'r and around the pole barn. A loading area or former animal pen was observed to the west of the barns. A soil stain approximately one foot in diameter was observed in the driveway leading up to the residence. L Three pole-mounted transformers were observed along the northern boundary of the subject property, along Mahon Avenue. All three were white and appeared relatively new,but no blue PCB-free stickers L were observed. No staining was observed near the transformers. L Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of the subject property were rural residences and an agricultural field. To west was a rural residence and pasture land. An orchard was observed to the south. An irrigation canal,pasture land,and an orchard were observed to the east.
