Water Policy (Board Resolution: R-91-7931 <br /> General Plan Volume I, p IV-108, policy 7. states, "Any General Plan Amendment, or <br /> Subsequent Plan for any new or expanded community, approved by the County shall not <br /> result in an increased demand upon the water supply available to San Joaquin County <br /> as of April 1, 1991." <br /> Pursuant to Board Resolution R-91-793, General Plan Amendment <br /> applications for commercial and industrial development, all parcels <br /> smaller than 20 acres shall be exempt from this Policy. The proposed <br /> use shall not exceed 2.25— acre feet of water per acre for each year, <br /> unless verification can be made that the affected parcel historically had <br /> a higher water consumption. <br /> Next Stegs <br /> When the applicant is ready to submit the full application it will be necessary to do the <br /> following: <br /> • Submit the remaining portion of the General Plan amendment fee. <br /> • Submit ten (10) copies of the map to be amended. <br /> Submit ten (10) copies of the application. <br /> Submit a Zone Reclassification application to include: <br /> • A will-serve letter from California Water for public water; <br /> • A will-serve letter from East Stockton Sanitary Sewer for public <br /> wastewater; <br /> • Ten (10) copies of the completed application; <br /> • Ten (10) copies of the assessor page(s) with the area to be <br /> rezoned outlined. Label the map with both the "existing" and <br /> "proposed" zoning of the plan; and <br /> • One copy of the recorded deed. <br /> NOTE: The pre-application conference is designed to inform prospective applicants of <br /> General Plan consistency, zoning consistency, public improvement requirements, <br /> preliminary design constraints and opportunities, and major environmental and safety <br /> issues. This information is provided in the hope of assisting the applicant in submitting a <br /> better and more complete application, as well as minimizing processing time. It is not <br /> intended to be an in-depth analysis, and an environmental assessment is not completed. <br /> The applicant should be aware that a detailed review will not be done until the full <br /> application is submitted.
