[See Lt. DuBois attached memo]
At this time we are currently in the process of closing down one park that the state of California has
suspended the permit to operate indefinitely and have been advised that they just suspended three
more in our county.
The park that we are dosing down holds the record for the most calls for service and police time over
any address or business in our County. It should also be noted that this park only has twenty-four
spaces.
Our experience has seen most of the"Mobile Home Parks" have become "R.W' parks and the county
does not have any way to enforce that!
Before another park is permitted, the County must come up with enforcement procedures that will allow
the Code Enforcement Officers the means of correcting the problems soon after they are noted.
This project alone will have minimallmajor impact on current law enforcement procedures; continued
growth of this nature will necessitate the establishment of a funding mechanism to maintain the current
level of police service.
Items to be considered on this type of project are:
1. Units should have addressing that is that is dearly directional and displayed at each walkway
entrance to direct emergency personnel more rapidly.
0 Page 1
