EMGEO <br /> INCORPORATED <br /> 4.1.1 Chain of Title/Ownership <br /> The Title Report lists recorded land title detail, ownership fees, leases, land contracts, easements, <br /> liens, deficiencies, and other encumbrances attached to or recorded against a subject property. <br /> However, laws and regulations pertaining to land trusts vary from state to state and the detail of <br /> information presented in a Title Report can vary greatly by jurisdiction. As a result, ENGEO <br /> utilizes a Title Report, when provided to us, as a supplement to other historical record sources. <br /> A title report was provided for review. It is presented in Appendix B. <br /> The title to the Property is vested in Larry K. Matlock and L. Colene Matlock. No <br /> environmental liens were noted within the title report. We were not provided with a chain-of- <br /> title for the property. <br /> 4.1.2 Historical Topographic Maps <br /> Historical USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Topographic Maps were reviewed to determine if <br /> discernible changes in topography or improvements pertaining to the Property had been <br /> recorded. We reviewed USGS 7.5 Minute Lathrop West Quadrangle Maps dated 1915, 1952, <br /> 1978, and 1996. <br /> Each of the maps shows the San Joaquin River in place running north to south along the western <br /> boundary of the Property. Each of the maps also shows West Manila Road in place running east <br /> to west along the southern boundary of the Property. On the map dated 1915, West Manila Road <br /> is mapped as an unimproved dirt road.
