Hughes:
At your request, TERRASEARCH, inc, is pleased to present our Water Quality Test
SAN JOSE: Results for the above referenced site. The purpose of this proposed work is to provide
6840 Via Del Oro a water chemical baseline for the groundwater beneath the proposed water reclamation
Suite Ito facility and in the adjacent San Joaquin River. Piezometers P-3 and P-5
Livemore,CA 94551 - -- -
(925)243-6662 could not be located and P-6 was amage but could be monitored. These
Fax:(925)243-6663 piezometers were buried or damaged due to farming activities on the site. Prior to
sampling each well, an electronic depth-to-water (DTW) probe was lowered into
piezometers P-1, P-2, P-4 and P-6 to measure the final DTW level. Each DTW level
SACIIAM (): was measured to the top of casing to the nearest 0.01-foot. After the DTW was
4200 N.Freeway Blvd. -.
Suite 2 measured, a Teflon disposable bailer was lowered into P-1, P-2 and P-4 and the bailer
Sacramento,CA 95834 was allowed to fill with water. The bailer was then lifted from each well and carefully
(916)564-7809 decanted into the appropriate laboratory sealed and preserved sampling containers.
Fax:(916)5647672 The groundwater for metals analysis was filtered prior to being decanted into the
containers. The containers were then sealed, checked for headspace, labeled and
placed into a pre-chilled ice chest for temporary storage. A Teflon disposable bailer
was used on each well to avoid cross-contamination. The DTW levels measured in
piezometers P-1, P-2, P-4 and P-6 are shown on Table 1, DTW Level Data.
One river "grab" sample (SJR-1) was also collected from the San Joaquin River boat-
ramp area by submerging the appropriate laboratory supplied containers into the river
