• Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on June 29, 2016
for the Site and nearby facility with hazardous materials inventories. The Site
was not listed. The following facilities within one-quarter mile were identified:
• Joe Gonzales Trucking, 7385 W. Ripon Rd. According to the listing, this
facility maintains coolant, petroleum oil, waste oil, oxygen, and Stoddard
solvent. This facility has been discussed above.
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby addresses that have
been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Three wells were
identified at addresses within approximately 0.75 miles of the subject Site. Two
of the wells had been tested for DBCP; it was detected in one of the wells, at a
concentration of 0.01 µg/L. All the wells had been tested for nitrate; it was
detected at concentrations of 6.0 to 50.0 mg/L. The Maximum Contaminant
Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 mg/L. The MCL for
DBCP is 0.2 µg/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted
regarding agricultural use of the site. Chemical application records were
• identified for the almond orchard on the southern portion of the Site under the
name of Dave Roorda; records from 2015 were the only ones identified. A
variety of agricultural chemicals were applied to the Site during this time period,
as indicated on the attached table in Appendix 5. No violations were identified.
7.4 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources Maps
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)
Online Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on June 29, 2016 for mapped oil
or gas wells within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. Two wells were identified
within the search radius:
• Venada Drillco "Venada" M-1 (API 07720246), approximately one-quarter
mile south of the Site, a plugged and abandoned dry hole.
• Edward G. Davis "Kingen" 1-21, approximately one-quarter mile southeast
of the Site, a plugged and abandoned dry hole.
•
LOGE 1614 7
