• Live Oak searched both databases on July 13, 2016 for any listed sites within
one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database,
and no facilities were identified within one-quarter mile.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground Storage
Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Site Mitigation, and Leaking Underground
Storage Tanks lists dated August 2015, for facilities of concern within one-quarter
mile of the Site. The following facilities were identified within the search radius:
• Joe Gonzales Trucking, 7385 W. Ripon Rd., Hazardous Materials,
Hazardous Waste Generators, and Underground Storage Tanks lists,
located approximately 380 feet south of the Site. Live Oak reviewed
records on file at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department for this facility. According to these records, this facility
maintains flammables, gasses, and motor oil. Violations related to
hazardous materials storage were on file from 2010; a "return to
compliance" certification was on file. The facility was listed as a small
quantity hazardous waste generator through 2014. No evidence was
encountered to suggest that this facility has impacted the Site.
• • John Boot, 7131 E. W. Ripon Rd., Hazardous Materials list, adjacent to
the west of the Site. Live Oak requested records on file at the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for this facility; no files
were identified. The structures at this facility are located approximately
300 feet west of the subject Site. Based on the nature of this facility and
the distance from its structures to the Site, it does not appear likely to
have impacted the Site.
• Mark Teunissen Property, 7762 E. W. Ripon Rd., and Leaking
Underground Storage Tanks list, located approximately one-quarter mile
southeast of the subject Site. Live Oak reviewed records on file at the
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for this facility.
According to these records, a fire took place at this facility in 2008. When
Environmental Health Department officials visited the facility after the fire,
they found "indications of burning of waste, burying of waste, and
hazardous waste storage on the property." Numerous leaking containers
were identified, as well as piles of treated wood and garbage. A large spill
was identified under an above-ground storage tank. The Environmental
Health Department referred the facility to the Department of Toxic
Substances Control and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board; however, it does not appear as a listed facility on those agencies'
databases (Section 7.1, above). Although investigation of this facility has
not been completed, no evidence has been encountered at this time to
• suggest that it would have impacted the subject Site.
LOGE 1614 6
