Manthey Road, Lathrop The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified as pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. An application for Waste Discharge Requirements must be submitted to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board prior to development (California Water Code, Article 4, Section 13260). B. A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building permit(s). (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$575 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of $115 per percolation hole is required. NOTE: The EHD received a soil suitability/nitrate loading study addendum dated June 25, 2008 and has been approved. C. Submit plans for a sewage treatment plant (for the entire development) to the Environmental Health Department for approval. A Registered Engineer must design and sign the plans (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). D. Construction of sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4).
