In accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d), the Environmental Health Division is requesting the <br /> applicant conduct a septic tank usage/Nitrate Loading Study taking into consideration the <br /> proposed usage that could be developed on this property. <br /> In addition, because this property contained a poultry farm with 12,000 or more birds, <br /> Environmental Health Division will require the study to look at the current soil conditions in <br /> regards to the waste generated over a 50-plus-year time frame. <br /> Environmental Health Division is also concerned about the groundwater quality in this area <br /> related to nitrate,TCE, and arsenic levels. The proposed study will need to look at the current <br /> water quality in this area and potential impacts of development on the groundwater. The <br /> groundwater impacts of the Sharpe Army Depot contamination plume (TCE) will need to be <br /> addressed for this site, especially if development will utilize groundwater for the underlying <br /> project(s). <br /> a <br /> _11-01 <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
