This <br /> application is a General Plan application to amend the General Plan designation of one 66.39 <br /> acre parcel from AIL (Limited ,Agriculture)to I/L (Limited Industrial) and a Zone <br /> Reclassification to amend the zoning offtee parcels totaling 73.12 acres from AL-10 (Limited <br /> Agriculture— 10-acre minimum,)and I-W/S-14 (Warebouse Zone/Conditional Zoning) to 1-W <br /> (Warehouse Zone). By definition, this application requires mitigation under the San Joaquin <br /> County Ag Mitigation Ordinance 4308 (San Joaquin County Code, Section 9-I080.3,a,l and 2). <br /> Section 9-1080.3 Mitigation Requirements. <br /> a) Mitigation Required, The County shall require agricultural mitigation for any of the <br /> following actions: <br /> 1) A General Plan Amendment that changes the designation of any land from an. <br /> agricultural to a non-agricultural use; and <br /> 2) A,Zoning Reclassification that changes the permitted uses from agriculture to a <br /> nonagricultural use, regardless of the General Plan designation_ <br /> We would also suggest that any further applications that fall under the rules of the Ordinance <br /> 4308, have these requirements stated as such on the application. <br /> Thank you for your time and consideration, Please keep us informed of any further actions and <br /> any information that may be provided by staff concerning this matter. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Tom Orvis <br /> Program Director <br /> PO.
