CITY SERVICES PLAN
water line presently installed within Mariposa Drive, which has been sized appropriately to
handle the full capacity of the project.
2.6 WASTEWATER
Upon annexation, the project site would be located within the City's service area and permanently
served by the 30 inch sewer main located approximately 1,260 feet to the east south east of the
project. The connection to the City system would be made in an existing manhole in the frontage
road. This connection would require the developer to install approximately 2,300 feet of sewer
main along with manholes.
2.7 STORM DRAINAGE
Upon annexation and approval of plans the developer will install and maintain an underground
storm detention structure that will discharge, by metered pumping, to the existing 12"diameter
storm drain culvert crossing Mariposa Road. The on-site system will utilize maintained oil-
separator inlets feeding the detention structure. It is anticipated that the developer will comply
with any requirements and pay all fees as required by the City's Storm Water Pollution
Prevention Program as set forth in its National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Storm
Water Permit, when executed by the state and City Council.
2.8 SOLID WASTE AND GARDEN REFUSE DISPOSAL
Solid waste would be collected and removed by the Waste Management Division. Solid waste
would be primarily disposed of at the City's Austin Road Landfill. Waste is distributed to the two
landfill sites under a recent agreement between the City and Forward Landfill Facility.
2.9 NATURAL GAS, ELECTRICITY, TELEPHONE, AND CABLE
SERVICE
Pacific Gas and Electric provides natural gas and electrical services to the project site. Natural
gas is delivered via a network of gas mains housed within the major roadways within the
surrounding area. The subject property will be served by an 8-inch gas main that extends along
the State Route 99 Western Frontage Road. Electrical service for the project area is provided
through a network of PG&E overhead and below ground distribution lines. Currently, electricity
for the project site is delivered via an above ground distribution line that extends across the
project site from the southwest to the northeast. This system will be relocated and/or placed
underground by the developer with the approval of P.G.&E.
Bell currently supplies telecommunication services for the project area through a network of
overhead distribution lines and individual service lines. A telephone trunk line is located along
the full length of Mariposa Road. AT&T Broadband provides cable television services
throughout the City. 12/10/2002
City ofStoekton Services Plan 4
Mariposa Travelers Cemer
