(PHASE 2)TRUCK REPAIR FACILITY 4800 SQ FT. <br /> The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> V a. ❑ The Fire Prevention Division has reviewed this application and there does not appear to be any major problems <br /> associated with the proposed project as submitted <br /> ® A complete review at building permit submittal will require compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> ❑ b. Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of <br /> ❑ 1.)Appendix 111-A and ID-B of the California Fire Code. <br /> ❑ 2.)NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. <br /> ❑ c. Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards <br /> and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> V d. Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California Fre Code and the standard <br /> adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> ❑ <br /> C. This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the <br /> map for record.Please contact Fire Prevention at 209-468-3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. <br /> ❑ f. This project shall comply with the San Joaquin County Development Title Section 9-1150.18,Road Naming <br /> Proceedures. Please contact the Community Development Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior <br /> to requesting Fire Department approval. <br /> V g. Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> V h Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2. <br /> V i. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.2.l <br /> ❑ j. A technical report to determine the acceptability of technologies, processes, products, facilities, materials, and uses <br /> attending the design,operation or use of the building or premises may be required.(CFC 1103.2.4) <br /> ❑ k. All undeveloped parcels or portions of undeveloped parcels which are created as a result of this planning application <br /> shall remain free of weeds, debris, or any other combustible vegetation such as abandoned orchards or vineyards <br /> throughout the year to the satisfaction of the Fire Jurisdiction Having Authority.(CFC 1103.2.40 <br /> Other: <br /> THIS PROJECT MUST COMPLY WITH THE NEW 2007 CALIFORNIA CODES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1,2008. <br />
