Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report
SINGH FARMS
4851 South Maybeck Road, Stockton, California
1.0. INTRODUCTION
Advanced GeoEnvironmental (AGE) has been retained by Mr. Gurdip Singh of Singh
Farms to perform a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report of the property
located at 4851 South Maybeck Road, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California
(hereafter referred to as subject property or property).
1.1. PURPOSE
The purpose of the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report is to identify, to the
extent feasible, any real or potential surface or subsurface contamination caused by
past or current land uses of the subject property that could lead to liability in the event of
ownership, that could have a potential impact on property value, or that could impact the
present or future use of the subject property. The report includes evaluation of nonpoint
sources of hazardous materials, as well as potential point sources, such as above-
ground or underground fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas.
San Joaquin County Development Ordinance Title 9-905.12(a) was used as a guideline
to perform this assessment.
The Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report is required by San Joaquin County
to facilitate a Tentative Parcel Map to reapportion the current single, approximately
0.936 acre (40,827 square feet) property parcel into two new parcels. The proposed
tentative parcel divides the existing parcel into a 24,316 square foot parcel and a 16,511
square foot parcel. In January 2014, an application for a minor subdivision was
submitted to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department for the
tentative parcel. The proposed tentative parcel map (the minor subdivision application
map) is provided in Appendix C; a site location map is included as Figure 1; and a site
plan is provided as Figure 2.
2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION
The subject property is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Maybeck
Road and Highway 4, southeast of the City of Stockton. The property is currently utilized
agriculturally with no structures. Further property location descriptions, characteristics,
improvements, and site vicinity characteristics are discussed below.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
