AGE has no indication that the railroad right-of-way has impacted the subject property. • There are three water wells located on the subject property,providing the potential of trespass of contaminants to the subsurface. AGE has no indication that such as trespass has occurred. • A small tire and debris pile and an abandoned vehicle were located at the northern-most portion of the property, these items did not reflect obvious environmental concern, but should be removed. Ranch Complex: The ranch complex was inspected for items of environmental concern; only a small storage area of residential-sized chemicals was noted. Additional items included on-site septic sewer systems, several empty, painted 55-gallon drums used in the exercise ring/arena and the age of the buildings,which would be indicative ofpossible asbestos-containing materials.None ofthese items were of obvious environmental concern. 10.0. RECOMMENDATIONS Based upon the findings of this Phase I Site Assessment,AGE recommends that the water wells should be removed under permit if they are no longer required.: Should additional and significantly different information on environmental conditions become available . in the future,please contact our office for further recommendations. Ranch Complex:A general asbestos survey of all subject property buildings should be completed by a qualified professional prior to remodeling or demolition of the subject property buildings.Any asbestos- containing materials should be identified and evaluated for abatement.The small chemical storage area should be cleaned out. 11.0. LMTATIONS Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar fields. The findings were based mainly upon examination of historical records, maps, aerial photographs and government agency lists, on a site reconnaissance visit,and on information obtained during personal interviews with persons of long term familiaritywith the subj ect property.The hazardous waste site lists presented in this report represents only a search of specific government records as listed above.Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.is aware that additional government records may exist.
