A
12,000 square feet minimum usable disposal area plus pits is recommended for Parcel B.
WELL WATER ANALYSIS:
Well water was tested for Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and Nitrate (NO3)
concentrations. The results of this testing is contained in the attached Far West
Laboratories,Inc. letter, dated August 29, 2001 and by inclusion in this report is made an
integral part of this study. The results of the Far West Laboratories, Inc. tests on DBCP
and nitrates are summarized as follows:
Chemical Constituents
Dibromochloropropane (DBCP.) lua/L1 4Nitrate(NO3m
SND-"(Not etected) `6t1:
The Nitrate (NO3)and Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) concentrations for the
well water sampled are well within the State's standards for safe public drinking water
established at 45 mg/L and 0.2 ug/L for Nitrates (NO3) and Dibromochloropropane
(DBCP)respectively.
ENGINEER'S STATEMENT:
Septic systems of the types proposed can be installed and their construction is not
expected to impact groundwater or cause other health hazards.
Walter E. urtis
Civil Engineer, C.E. # 11584
Attachments: "Parcel Map" (1), "Test Hole Location Map"(1), Field Percolation Data
Sheet(2), Far West Laboratories, Inc., 08/29/01 reporting letter, and
Masellis Drilling"Geotechnical Log", dated 07/25/01
Earl Sellers, 10979 North Micke Grove Road,Lodi, California 95240;(209)478-5760,(209)610-5602
• fi
