The septic system serving the
residence on the property will be expanded to accommodate wastewater generated by
the initial 65 people who will use the church for approximately 4 hours on a weekly basis,
and two office staff who will work on the premises approximately 5 days per week, 8
hours per day (Phase 1 ).
In the second phase of work (Phase 2), additional church facilities, including
additional buildings, will be built over a period of time. A new septic system will be
constructed to treat wastewater produced by 250 people for weekly services after the
Phase 2 construction has been completed.
Section 2 of this document presents a history of the property, Section 3 presents
regional soil and groundwater information, and Section 4 presents local soil and
groundwater information. Section 5 summarizes an evaluation of the on-site soils and
Section 6 presents a study of the liquid and nitrate loadings rates associated with the
initial and maximum proposed septic system use at the property. Section 7 presents the
conclusions and recommendations of this evaluation of the current septic facility and the
planned expansion of the septic facilities for the property.
2.0 BACKGROUND
This section provides a brief history of the property.
