.woe
1V. Continued
The existing septic systems on the Bell property have been functions for a
number of years now without any problems. The septic systems on the two pro-
perties to the north have been inexistance for up to 20 plus years without
any problems and we would not anticipate or forsee any problems with the new proposed
septic system for Parcel 2. The existing septic systems consist of a septic tank,
leach lines and dry wells.
V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING
Currently there are two wells on the property with one well serving Mr. Bells
residence and the other well servicing the mobile home within the new Parcel 3
boundary. Mr. Bells well is down to approximately 300 feet and the well serving
the mobile home is approzimately 140 plus feet. The wells on the property to
the immediate north of this parcel map is rangeing from 160 to 200 plus feet.
Vl. SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATIM TESTS
Three test holes for percolation were drilled to a depth of 25' with one tole
being 36" in diameter and two toles being 12" in diameter. The 36" tole will be
used as one of the deep pits located on parcel two for the septic system. Visual
classification of each soil stratum encountered was made in the field by a Civil
Engineer at the time the tests holes were excavated/drilled.
The soil in all three toles was a dark brownish gray top soil with hardpan
and sand and gravel below the hardpan.
Percolation tests were performed in the holes with a copy of these test
results attached. It can be seen brom the tests that the perk rate for the holes
varried as follows:
Parcel 1 Test hole 1 Perk rate of 71" per hour/min.
Parcel 2 Test hole 2 Perk rate of 8" per hour/min
Parcel 3 Test hole 3 Perk rate of 13" per hour/min
We feel that the above rate exceed the minimum of 1" per hour per asset forth
by the Public Health Services Division of the San Joaquin County and would
recommender the leach lines with the pits at the ends of each leach line be
installed.
The location of the test holes are shown on the attached application. The
deep pits are recommendedto be to a depth of.25! .
Vll. CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation tests, the soil profile and the past
performance of the existing septic systems in the area and the wells in service
in this area would not-;be adversely be affected or be detrimental to the ground
water supply and will meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services Department.
Vlll. LIMITATIONS
The conclusions in this report are for the information gathered only and
does not warrent any porting of the site not tested. It is assumed that the test
results should be representive of the site.
