CITY OF STOCKTON
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
CITY HALL NOV - 3
425 N. EL DORAOO STREET 2000
STOCKTON. CA95202-1997
October 30, 2000
Tina Wehrmeister
San Joaquin County Community Development
Development Services Division
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH A DROP YARD FOR THE STORAGE OF
INOPERABLE VEHICLES ON AN EXISTING VACANT LOT
SOUTH SIDE MINER AVENUE 50' E/ BROADWAY AVENUE (APN 143-390-12) (SA-00-58)
The City of Stockton Public Works Department has reviewed the subject application and offers the
following comments:
1 . This site is within the East Stockton Sanitary Sewer District. The San Joaquin County Public
Works Department should determine if the proposed use will generate sewage beyond the
capacity allowed for this site.
2. The owner/developer should dedicate as needed within the limits of the project to provide
a 50' street section (25' half section) on Miner Avenue. Frontage improvements including,
but not limited to, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway installation, pavement widening and street
lighting should be installed prior to occupancy of any new buildings/structures on this site.
Should installation of these improvements prove not practical due to existing physical
constraints, the owner/developer should enter into a Deferred Improvement Agreement
whereby the owner/developer agrees to install the required improvements at such time as
it is practical.
3. All off-site improvements shall conform to City of Stockton Standard Plans and
Specifications.
We appreciate the opportunity to comment on this application.
JAMES B.
