The search radius for this investigation has been extended to adjoining properties, and to
L properties within a search radius of one-quarter mile. As an adjunct to the database search, the subject
property background and history of past use have been investigated. Interviews have been conducted
and a site reconnaissance completed. The data pertinent to this investigation can be found in the body
L of this document. The primary investigator for the assessment is Ms. Nancy Rosulek, Staff
Environmental Scientist.
L Due to concerns regarding potential liability for toxic hazards which may adversely impact real estate
in general, investors need to assess property before sale or purchase to determine if current or past
occupants or surrounding land uses could adversely impact property development or result in future
L liability for the investor. Good commercial and customary practice for conducting a Surface/Subsutface
Contamination Report for a parcel of property is to identify recognized environmental conditions.
According to ASTM Standard E 1527-00, paragraph 1.1.1, the term recognized environmental
L conditions means "...the presence or likely presence of any hazardous substances or petroleum
products on a property under conditions that indicate an existing release, a past release, or a material
1
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
LENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,California 95240 0 209367.3701 0 209.369.4228 9 w .noandersonxom
