4
March 4, 2005
LNOA Project Number: E00517A
The subject property was observed to be flat, roughly rectangular in shape on the north end, the
L south end flagging slightly more east than the north end. The subject property is vacant and covered
in three to five foot high grasses. There is a U-shaped dirt driveway cutting through from East Miner
L approximately two-thirds toward the south of the property on which three to five inoperable cars
are parked, some of which are leaking unidentified fluids. The stain spots on the soil were less than
two feet in diameter.
L
Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. The west side of the
j property is bordered by a large barrier wall that separates the subject property from Highway 99
L directly to the west. To the south is a chain-link fence that has been partially dismantled by
trespassers using the subject property as a shortcut. The eastern side of the property runs up to two
L single-family residences that have 5-7 inoperable cars parked adjacent to the subject property. To the
north of the subject property is East Miner Avenue.Northwest of Miner is a single family residence.
Anteros Avenue runs perpendicular to East Miner directly center-north of the subject property, and
Lnorth of Miner on the East is another single family residence.
The south fence line of the subject property in this assessment may be approximately fifty feet south
of the property line depicted in the assessor's parcel map.
L
3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination
LNo above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified
from past uses of the site.
t
L
3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination
LNo above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified
Lfrom current uses of the site, except for the following:
• Three tires and less than one cubic yard piles of scattered surface debris
LInoperable parked cars leaking unidentified fluids into the soil
L
L 8 f
