(NOA) has been retained by Mr.Joseph Rivani of Global
Investment&Development,LLC to perform a Limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment
(Phase II) as part of their due diligence process for the subject Site. The Phase II will investigate the
Site for evidence of any impacts to soil and/or ground water quality from the former dairy
operations, the above-ground storage tank, and surficial staining associated with vehicle
maintenance. Global Investment&Development,LLC intends to develop the Site with single-
family residences,an elementary school, and commercial and industrial structures.
r
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requires a workplan be
prepared before drilling permits can be issued for environmental investigations.
This workplan addresses the proposed investigation of soil and ground water quality at the Site. It
is proposed to investigate existing ground-water quality both up-gradient and down-gradient of the
former dairy ponds and manure spreading areas through the advancement of several direct-push
ground water borings.
The workplan is organized into the following sections: general information, health and safety plan,
soil sampling procedures, ground water sampling procedures, proposed time schedule for work, and
report preparation.
b.
We understand the investigation may not proceed until after EHD staff approval of the workplan
and issuance of a drilling permit. A California licensed geologist or engineer will oversee the ground
water investigation on the Site.
I
`
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO 01
L ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,California 95240 ■209.367.3701 ■ 209.369.4228 fax ■w uo
L
