The ground water samples will then be placed on ice inside an insulated storage chest <br /> L and promptly transported under chain-of-custody to a testing laboratory. <br /> 4.2.3 Water Sample Laboratory Tests <br /> Water samples will be transported to a California state certified analytical laboratory where they will <br /> be analyzed for nitrate as nitrogen by EPA 300.0. <br /> 5.0 PROPOSED TIME SCHEDULE FOR WORK <br /> ` Assuming approval of this workplan,we propose to perforin the work on October 5 and 6,2005. <br /> Standard laboratory tum-around is ten business days. We anticipate producing the Limited Phase II <br /> Investigation report documenting the results of the work by November 2,2005. <br /> v <br /> 6.0 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> A report will be prepared to present the soil types encountered and analytical test results for the soil <br /> and ground water samples. The report will describe the drilling activities,soil conditions <br /> encountered, first encountered ground water,and laboratory test results. The report will also <br /> include the soil logs,laboratory test result sheets,and chain-of-custody documentation. <br /> 7.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> The proposed scope of work for the Phase II has been tailored to address the specific issues of <br /> manure collection and spreading,the above-ground storage tank,and vehicular maintenance <br /> activities on the subject property. The Phase II does not include investigation into possible impacts <br /> to the Site from the former Shell crude oil pipeline on the Site,lead-based paints or asbestos- <br /> containing materials on the Site,historic agricultural practices on surrounding properties,or any <br /> other issues.
