L
` October 17,2005
NOA Project Number: E05120A
. 3.1.5 [Cuter Supply and Sewage Disposal System
L One domestic well is located on the subject property. Mr.Kimbrough indicated during the site visit on
September 6,2005 that two septic systems currently exist on the property. One septic system to the east
of the residential area has been abandoned. He stated that a second water well was abandoned by
Teichert Construction;this well was located in a portion of the subject property that is currently a utility
L easement. The locations of these features are indicated on the site map in Appendix A.
The EHD well and septic pertnit files were searched on September 26,2005 in an effort to obtain copies
L of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property;two permits were found. The first
permit, for Amelia Machado on Patterson Pass Road and dated March 1969,was for the installation of
a new septic tank to service a mobile home. The second permit, dated September 2004,was for pump
L. replacement at an existing domestic well;based on the illustration attached, the permit appears to refer
to the now-abandoned well. Copies of these permits are included in Appendix F.
6. 3.1.6 Department ofOi4 Gas, and Geothermal Resources
The California Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources(DOGGR)Wildcat maps 608'4 and
60615 were reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No
wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property.
3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance
A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on September 6,2005. Photographs of
` the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is
attached to this report as Appendix D.
r The subject property was observed to be a flat, rectangular, 148-acre parcel. The eastern portion of the
property consisted of a former dairy, with two manure ponds and a manure spreading area at the
northeast corner. A water collection area with a pump was observed at the western end of the manure
` spreading area. A milking barn, two open-air dairy structures, one shop building, one residence, one
garage, and five mobile homes were observed near the northeast corner of the property. A domestic
well was observed near the center of the structures. Corrals were observed along the eastern side of the
` property. The remainder of the property was observed to be open grazing land.
i
L
L
74Cahfornia Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources,2005,Wildcat map 608.
L15Califomia Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources,2002,Wildcat map 606.
8
L A
L
