NOA observed
the removal of the tank by West Coast Equipment on October 6,2005, and documented the removal
in a letter dated October 12, 2005 (Appendix G).
Two fuel dispenser drums were observed on the cement pad at the front of the shop building. Chemical
6. containers and equipment were stored within the half of the shop building with a cement floor. Three
automotive batteries were observed on the ground to the north of the residence. Waste oil drums and
j other debris were observed within a corral to the west of the residential area. Several other drums of
unknown contents were observed in and around the shop building and garage. A large trash pile was
observed to the northwest of the residential area. Several small (less than one foot in diameter) soil
stains were observed in the vicinity of the residential and dairy structures.
6.
When NOA returned to the subject property on October 6, 2005, the fuel dispenser drums near the
shop building and waste oil drums in the corral were no longer present. Mr.Kimbrough indicated that
%V those drums were removed from the property by a hazardous waste hauler.' The waste manifest is
included in Appendix G.
One pole-mounted transformer with a blue PCB-free sticker was observed near the domestic well on
the subject property. Three pole-mounted transformers with PCB-free stickers were observed along
Mountain House Parkway near the residential area of the subject property. One transformer with a
PCB-free sticker was observed along Grant Line Road near the pump at the water collection area, and
a second similar transformer was observed to the south of it.
