The Environmental Checklist, consistent with CEQA Guidelines,was used to determine whether the proposed project is"within the scope" of the SPIIIEIR and to examine the continued adequacy of the SPIIIEIR. The Checklist and Discussion assess whether (1)there L are any additional significant environmental effects not previously examined in the SPIIIEIR; and, (2) any new mitigation measures are required(CEQA Guidelines Sections 15168(c), i 2006).
