L
L
L
3
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
L
6. The Environmental Checklist, consistent with CEQA Guidelines, was used to determine
whether the proposed project is"within the scope" of the SPIIIEIR and to examine the
continued adequacy of the SPIIIEIR. The Checklist and Discussion assess whether (1)there
L are any additional significant environmental effects not previously examined in the SPIIIEIR;
and, (2) any new mitigation measures are required(CEQA Guidelines Sections 15168(c),
i 2006).
L
Any one of the following environmental factors would be checked if the proposed project
created a"New Additional Significant Impact Not Addressed in the SPIIIEIR" as indicated
by the Environmental Checklist in Chapter 4. As shown,no such impacts were identified in
the Checklist.
L
❑ Aesthetics ❑ Agriculture Resources ❑ Au Quality
L ❑ Biological Resources ❑ Cultural Resources ❑ Geology/Soils
❑ Hazards&Hazardous Materials ❑ Hydrology/Water Quality ❑ Land Use/Planning
L ❑ Mineral Resources ❑ Noise ❑ Population/Housing
❑ Public Services ❑ Recreation ❑ Transportation/Traffic
L ❑ Utilities/Service Systems ❑ Mandatory Findings of Significance
rJ DETERMINATION: (To be completed by the Lead Agency)
L On the basis of this initial evaluation:
I find that the proposed project COULD NOT have a significant effect on the environment, and
L a NEGATIVE DECLARATION will be prepared.
❑ I find that although the proposed project could have a significant effect on the environment,
Lthere will not be a significant effect in this case because revisions in the project have been made
by or agreed to by the project proponent. A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION will
be prepared.
L ❑ I find that the proposed project MAY have a significant effect on the environment, and an
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT is required.
L
L
LMOuwAEV House PROPOSED MAcHADo TENrAnva M" 8/9/06 3-1
