The center of the site is approximately 4,000
` feet north of Interstate 205 (I-205). The primary current source of noise at the project site is
traffic from Grant Line Road,Mountain House Parkway and I-205. Construction of
Mountain House Community neighborhoods to the north and agricultural activities to the east
` of Mountain House Parkway also contributes to the existing background noise levels. The
project site, located approximately 5 miles southeast of the Byron Airport in Contra Costa
L County, is also influenced by aircraft fly-over noise. According to the MEIP,portions of
Neighborhood B, in which the project site is located, fall within the noise impact area of the
airport.
L
4-55
