Box 2009 <br /> Stockton , California 95201 <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study for the Paul and Jacqueline Polk <br /> property which consists of dividing an existing 51 . 73 <br /> acres parcel into two (2) parcels . Parcel 1 is to contain <br /> 41 . 73 acres and Parcel 2 is to contain 10 . 00 acres . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the Paul and <br /> Jacqueline Polk property located in San Joaquin County at 10549 <br /> North Jacktone Road , Stockton, California . <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. Ten ( 10) permits were studied covering other <br /> properties in the general area . No permit was found for the <br /> existing homesite on Parcel No . 1 . The septic systems were <br /> installed between April 8 , 1974 and November 2 , 1988 . <br /> Six (6) permits utilized a combination of 40 to 110 feet long <br /> leach lines with 33" to 48" inch diameter pits . One ( 1) permit <br /> utilized 85 feet long leach lines with a 12 'X4 ' sump . One ( 1) <br /> permit utilized only two (2) leach lines . Each line was 90 feet <br /> long for a total lenghth of 180 feet . Two (2) permits were found <br /> for adding leach lines in combination with pits to existing septic <br /> systems . <br /> The property owners have informed me , verbally, that the <br /> sewage facility in use at the present homesite on Parcel No . 1 is <br /> an installation utilizing leach lines in combination with pits . <br /> Existing Use : <br /> Except for a small portion of the property in the southeast <br /> corner which has a homesite on it and barns and exercise areas for <br /> Paul and Jacqueline Polk, 2 <br />
