k) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Building Code and <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection <br /> Division: <br /> 1) The proposed occupancy will be Group A Division 3. <br /> 2) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance. (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 3) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the "tow away" <br /> sign at each entrance or visible from each space (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 4) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed % inch per foot (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 5) Provide one van parking space. <br /> 6) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R., <br /> Title 24) Uniform Plumbing Code, Table 4-1. <br /> 7) Engineered plans required for new structures, accessible restrooms and <br /> parking. <br /> 8) A soils report will be required. <br /> 9) All recommendations of the Subdivision Soils Report shall be incorporated into <br /> the construction drawings. <br /> 10)A copy of the Soils Report shall be submitted to the Building Inspection Division, <br /> Plan Check Section, at the time of the final submittal. <br /> 1) CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated <br /> in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development <br /> Department for a building permit. <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of <br /> Appendix B and C of the California Fire Code. <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire <br /> department's instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> section 906. <br /> 6 <br />
