ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> THE PURPOSE OF THIS SITE ASSESSMENT IS TO IDENTIFY THE PRESENCE OR <br /> LIKELY PRESENCE OF ANY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES OR PETROLEUM <br /> PRODUCTS ON OR NEAR,ABOVE OR BELOW GROUND,OF SUBJECT PARCEL,AND <br /> TO DOCUMENT CONDITIONS THAT INDICATE A PRESENT OR PAST RELEASE OF <br /> ANY PETROLEUM PRODUCTS OR OTHER HAZARDOUS MATERIAL.ANY SUCH <br /> RELEASE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW. <br /> GUIDELINES FOR SITE ASSESSMENT ARE CONTAINED INASTHSTANDARDS <br /> RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL SITE CBA RAC7XRI?<iITION,2002,2ND EDITION <br /> This report is required by San Joaquin County Title,Section 9-905.12 and is rquinted herewith. <br /> Section 9.905.12 Surface and Subsurface ContamliWW Report <br /> (a) Re A surface and subsurface contamination report shall be required at the time of <br /> the tentative map submittal. The surface and subsurface contamination report shall be <br /> prepared by a quardied environmental professional and shall identify any potential source <br /> of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report <br /> shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous materials, including agricultural <br /> chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic <br /> systems, or chemical storage areas. <br /> (b) Waiver of Report The surface and subsurface contamination report may be waived if the <br /> Environmental Health Division finds that, due to the knowledge the County possesses <br /> relative to the possible contamination of the soils in this subdivision, no preliminary <br /> analysis is necessary. <br /> (c) Corrective Action. If the report indicates there are surface and subsurface contamination, <br /> corrective action shall be taken, as recommended in the report and concurred with by <br /> Environmental Health prior to the issuance of the building permit <br /> March 1993 9054 <br />
