. U J
r February 25, 2002
Job Number: LGOl-397
Page 7
Two sites were evaluated for their soil suitability; an area near the eastern septic system
and an area located on new property acquired through the lot line adjustment. The following
sections describe the soils and percolation tests conducted in these areas. Generally, the soils
observed during our investigation are similar to the Finrod clay loam soils described in the Soil
` Survey of San Joaquin report.
Percolation Test: 4799 Jack Tone Road at Eastern Septic System
Three(3) soil borings were drilled near the existing(eastern) septic system leach line to
characterize the subsurface soils. The percolation test was required by the County and provided
information to help determine whether expansion of the existing septic system would adequately
handle seasonal peak loads from temporary workers. Plate 1 identifies the location of borings.
Due to limited access, all three(3) soil borings were performed within approximately 15 feet of
each other. A following boring log describes the soils and the depth which the two percolation
test holes were drilled.
` Table 4.
Soil Boring Log B-1,B-2, and B-3
(Unified Soil Classification System)
Depth(FT)
B-1 B-2 77hbn
3
0-1 Lime treated clay(CL).
