Hine - Owner Ph# (209) 931-3788
Dear Ted,
Your inquiry regarding the location of the existing septic system on the property
and the possible intrusion of our site onto it has prompted an in-depth review of exactly
what is existing and what may be a possible solution should our installation impact same.
I visited the site with the owner and wish to submit for your review the following
information: 1. This letter of explanation
2. A plot of the subject property
3. A picture showing existing installation labeled nA
4. A picture showing expansion area labeled B
Mr Jerry Hine pointed out the location of the septic system as he is aware of it.
He described the following:
• Two tanks next to each other for collection and discharge. These are beside the
original garage, (see Plot map for all of this, as well as picture @)
• Item A Leach line running from the septic tank (gray water line) along the rear of the
garage to the first seepage pit.
• Item B A seepage pit at the end of the first leach line.
• Item C A continuing leach line which today goes under the garage addition towards
the front yard and connects the first and second pit together.
• Item D. The second seepage pit located in front of the garage addition.
• Item E. A continuing leach line running S.E. from the second pit into the orchard.
After plotting everything and careful review of this information it is believed AT&T's
installation will not impact the existing septic system. We may encounter drain-rock while
installing our perimeter fence posts and grounding wire, (copper), but our excavating for
the portable shelter pad and caisson appear to be 5 or 6 feet West of the system. (see
location of our excavation area labeled F. within our lease space, picture ®)
