3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH: (Staff contact: Michael Escotto, [209]468-3443)) <br /> a. addendum to the soil suitability/nitrate loading study dated October 20, 2009,that addresses the <br /> proposed phased expansion incorporating proposed staff and customer use, shall be submitted to <br /> the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. <br /> The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building <br /> permit(s). (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$610 must <br /> be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each <br /> parcel. A permit fee of$122 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. A permit to operate a non transient/non community public water system will be required by the <br /> Environmental Health Department prior to final occupancy of Phase 1. San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to assure <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9 and C.C.R., Title 22, and Health and Safety <br /> Code, Section 116525 through 116570. <br /> NOTE: <br /> Applicant shall contact Adrienne Ellsaesser, Lead Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at <br /> (209) 468-0343, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public water system prior to final <br /> occupancy. <br /> c. Submit to the Environmental Health Department revised site plans showing the maximum number <br /> of persons the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans <br /> that the leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a <br /> storage area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot <br /> contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal <br /> replacement area. <br /> d. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> e. Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The Environmental <br /> Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br /> Conditions of Approval - 4 - PA-1100024 <br />
